Ashes 2021-22: Shane Warne Suggest 4 changes to England’s playing XI ahead of Boxing Day Test

Ashes 2021-22

The Ongoing Ashes has been a nightmare for the English team, they have lost the first two games and will look to bounce back in the third test which is going to start from 26th December. The England team lost the first test by 9 wickets and lost the second test by 275 runs. The cricket pundits have been bashing the English left, right, and center because of their poor performance in the first two matches.

(Ashes 2021-22) Now legendary spinner Shane Warne has suggested four changes into the playing XI of the English team while congratulating the Australian team for their win over the England team. Warne said Congrats to the Aussies for the hard-fought win over England have to do a lot more things moving for boxing day and they (England Team) must start picking the correct team by including a spinner for the conditions Crawley, Wood, Bairstow & Leach would make my team.

Although Jack Leach was part of the first test match he was hammered by the Aussies all over the park in 13 over Jack leach gave away 102 runs with only one wicket to his name. Jack Crawley has been able to score only one fifty after his 200 against Pak in 2020 so his inclusion is suspicious given his form. Jonny Bairstow is having a pretty average 2021 in his 15 innings the wicket-keeper batsman has been able to put only 351 runs

With an average of 25 and his record in Australia in Australia is also not very good in his 7 innings in Australia he has scored 355 runs with a best of 119. Well we have to wait for another 4 days to see whether English took some notes from Warne or not. But the English need to bounce back as they are not able to win a single test on Aussie soil for over a decade now.
