BAN vs NZ: Despite having lead New Zealand still in trouble against Bangladesh

When the fourth day of BAN vs NZ started the task for the visitor is to crease their lead as much as they can, and they were up to the task and stretched their lead to 130 before getting all out on 458.

as the host started their batting they had a task on their hands, but things didn’t work in their favor as their captain Tom Latham falls early on the score of 29 with Bangladesh still having a lead of 101 to their name.

Devon Conway and Will Young tried to steady the ship of Kiwi batting and they were able to take the score as far as 63 runs before Conway become the victim of Ebadot Hossain.

After that experienced Ross Taylor joined hands with Will Young and both of them made sure that New Zealand get past the lead of Bangladesh and both of them added 73 runs in between them. while doing this Will Young bought up his half-century.

As things were looking good for New Zealand and they crossed 136 runs having a lead of just 6 runs over Bangladesh, Will Young got bowled by Ebadot Hossain, and after that, there was no looking back as Ebadot Hossain claimed the back to back wickets of Henry Nicholls and Tom Blundell as both of them failed to open their account.

By the end of the day, Ross Taylor is still on the crease with Rachin Ravindra, the lead of the New Zealand team is just 17 runs and half of their side is back to the pavilion.

If Rachin Ravindra and Ross Taylor are able to soak up the first session of the final day then there will be hope for New Zealand to take the game towards a draw otherwise the things are pretty simple for Bangladesh to claim their first-ever victory in New Zealand.
