(Hobart Test) The fifth and final test of the Ashes begin today and Travis Head was the star of the Australian team, English captain Joe Root wins the toss and is elected to bowl first.

it was just a matter of time when his bowler proved their captain’s decision right when they took early wickets of Australian openers David Warner and Usman Khawaja.

now the hope of the Australian team was on Steve Smith but he was not open his account and got out to Stuart Broad, once Steve Smith was back in the pavilion it looked like that England team will wrap up the Australian batting lineup very quickly.

but Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head didn’t give up and started counter-attacking the English bowlers, both of them added 71 runs for the 4th wicket and as the partnership was looking threatening Stuart Broad strikes again got rid of Marnus Labuschagne on the score of 83. In his inning, Marnus made 44 runs off 53 balls.

on the other end, Travis Head was going strong and he got partnered with Cameron Green and both of them didn’t stop the flow of runs and kept on playing their shots whenever they got the opportunity.

for the fifth wicket Travis Head and Cameron Green added 121 runs, and during this Travis Head bought up the 4th ton of his career and second of this series.

But as soon he completed his ton Chris Woakes got his wicket on the score of 204, in his innings Travis Head made 101 runs off 113 balls with the help of 12 fours.

once Head was back in the pavilion Green took the responsibility on his shoulder and added 34 more runs with Alex Carey but he wasn’t able to carry on for too long and got out to Mark Wood after scoring 74 runs.

there were more than 25 over left in the day but rain appeared and the game for the rest of day couldn’t continued.
