(India vs West Indies) The West Indies tour of India is kickstarting from tomorrow as both teams are ready to play the first ODI of the tour, although the Indian side got hit by Covid-19 they are also set to play the game without any further hiccups.

The Indian side will be led by Rohit Sharma, who will be making his comeback to the team after his hamstring injury which took him out of India’s tour of South Africa.

the first ODI match of the series will also mark the Indian team’s 1000th ODI, and they will become the first team to play 1000 ODIs after the Indian team Australia team is on the second number who has played 958 ODI and Pakistan who has played 936 ODIs.

The West Indies tour of India contains an ODI series and T20i series, each of them containing 3 matches each, the venue for the ODI series is Eden Garden, Kolkata and for the T20i series the venue is Narendra Modi Stadium Gujarat.

What to expect?

West Indies has currently beaten the England Cricket team in the T20i series so they will be having lots of confidence coming to India, whereas India lost the ODI series against South Africa so they will be low on confidence.

although India will get the services of their captain Rohit Sharma, they will not be getting the services of Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer as both of them will be missing the First ODI after being tested positive for Covid-19.
