NED vs AFG: Afghanistan beats Netherlands by 48 runs


(NED vs AFG) Afghanistan cricket team has beaten the Netherlands in the second ODI of the series by the margin of 48 runs,

Afghanistan captain won and elected to bat first, but the decision didn’t go the way captain would have liked as Afghanistan lost their opener, Usman Ghani, on the score of 1 run.

but then Gurbaz and Rahmat added 83 runs for the second wicket and steadied the innings of Afghanistan, and when it looked it Rahmat

is looking set for big innings he got out the stump and he scored 35 runs off 54 balls, but his partner Gurbaz kept his innings going and then he added 106 runs for the 3 wicket with his captain Shahidi.

Shahidi in his innings made 54 runs off 80 balls and in his innings, he hit 1 four and 2 sixes, in the process, Gurbaz brings out his century and he made 103 runs by facing 127 balls with the help of 6 fours and 3 sixes.

With the help of his century, the Afghanistan team posted a total of 237 runs on board giving the Netherlands team a target of 238 to chase in 50 overs, Afghanistan’s star Rashid Khan chipped 14 runs off 17 balls.

Netherlands Chase:

though the target of 238 isn’t too big in the current situation but no matter how small a target is batters are required to perform in order to chase it, the start Netherlands were looking for they didn’t get it as they lost their first two wickets on the score of 35 runs on the board.
