After the departure of Pant, Virat Kohli soon follows him to the pavilion and the Indian team was struggling at 3 wickets with just 43 runs on their board.

now the responsibility came on the shoulders of KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav, both of them added 91 runs for the fourth wicket and steadied the sinking ship of the Indian team.

but the partnership wasn’t able to go very long as KL Rahul got run out on the score of 134, he made 49 runs off 48 balls with the help of four 4s and 2 sixes.

Suryakumar made 64 runs in his innings as he was not able to go long and make the century, and the India team was able to make only 237 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in their quota of 50 overs.

A New Opening Pair

Indian team today tried a new opening pair, Rishabh Pant opened the innings with Rohit Sharma, although it didn’t go the way the Indian team would have wanted they surely are trying new things in this series.

West Indies Chase

The batting has been seriously let down for the West Indies in the first two matches, the team this time wasn’t chasing a big target but they failed to achieve the target.

West Indies got a decent start of 32 runs for the first wicket but soon they were struggling at 76 for 5, for West Indies Shamarh Brooks and Akeal Hossain did some fight but it was not enough for the team to go past India’s total.

Krishna’s Performance

defending a small total requires some disciplined bowling and Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna did exactly that, he bowled 9 overs he bowled 3 maiden overs, and gave only 12 runs, along with that he also took 4 wickets.

because of his stellar performance, he adjourned as the Player of the match.
