Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav has spoken about the confrontation with Virat Kohli during IPL 2020. The incident took place during the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chasing 165 runs in this match, Surya won Mumbai by scoring an unbeaten 79 runs. During this, Virat Kohli tried to shake the attention of this Mumbai batsman in his own style. But Surya did not respond. On this, Suryakumar Yadav just told that he was happy when Kohli sled.

During a conversation on Mumbai Indians ‘Instagram handle, Surya said,’ The thing is not the only mine. He creates similar difficulty in front of every batsman playing against him. I was glad that he sled. This means that Kohli knew that if I kept batting, we would win the match, and if he got my wicket, then maybe he could have stopped our run and got an opportunity to win.’

Suryakumar said that during the match, both of them stared at each other due to the heat of the atmosphere. He said that he respects Kohli. He said, ‘I keep calm and quiet on the pitch, so I don’t fall into this kind of competition. But in Abu Dhabi, it happened in the atmosphere, so I think that incident happened.’
