Indian team clean swept the West Indies side in the ODI series so they will be looking to do the same in the T20i series as well, for India their bowling was remarkable in the ODI series, so captain Rohit would be expecting the same.
in the ODI series, Indian bowlers were able to restrict the West Indies side on the low score so it won’t be a problem for them to do the same again in the T20 matches.
for West Indies, they need to solve their batting woes which continued throughout the ODI series, in the first match they were struggling on 79-7, and in the second match they were unable to chase the target of 236 runs.
the top order to West Indies is in shambles, the openers are unable to provide the required start to the team, which is putting the pressure on the middle order and on the lower order of their team.
Bowling is Good
just like India, West Indies bowlers were able to keep the Indian batting line quiet in the series, especially their big three, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli.
though Dhawan played only one match of the series throughout his innings, he was troubled by West Indies bowlers, Virat and Sharma were not able to score big, Rohit Sharma did score a fifty in the first match but in the next two matches, he wasn’t able to score runs.
before the start of the series the bad news comes for the Indian side, their all-rounder Washington Sundar got injured and will miss the series, chinaman Kuldeep Yadav has been announced as his replacement.
