Pakistan cricket team got edged over average Indian under-19 by two wickets in thriller match of Asia Cup U-19 which was played on Saturday. Pakistan team was chasing the target of 238 and at one point they were struggling at 69-3. Then they were helped by Muhammad Shehzad who scored 81 runs of 105 balls and a late of 29 runs by Ahmed Khan who scored 29 runs off 19 balls to take the Pakistan team home.
On the final ball of the match, the Pakistan team required 2 runs to win the match and Ahmad hit the ball for a boundary to seal the game for his team. Earlier Pakistan team ran havoc in the Indian batting line with the help of Zeeshan Zameer who took 5 wickets off 60 runs and stopped the Indian batting line up on mere 237 runs.
Earlier on the day the Indian team was struggling at 14 for 3 as they lost opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi (0), Shaik Rasheed (6), and skipper Yash Dhull (0) very cheaply, and soon after that Nishant Sindhu became the first victim of Awais Ali and Indian slipped to 41/4.
Harnoor Singh was looking solid as he made patient 46 runs off 59 balls and as he was looking to score big for his team in the 19th over he was dismissed by Awais Ali and India slipped further to 96/5.
As India was looking to get all out before 200 runs mark the lower middle-order batsmen showed some resistance against the Pakistan bowling line up wicketkeeper Aaradhya Yadav made 50 runs off 83 balls, Kaushal Tambe scored 32 runs off 38 balls and Rajvardhan Hangargerkar made 33 off 20 balls to take the Indian team to the respectable total of 237 runs.
But this score was enough for the Indian team as Pakistan was able to win the match on the final ball of the match, courtesy of Ahmad Khan who hit the last ball to take his team home against their arch rival.
