Wanderers 3rd Day: Will India Claim Victory or SA Equal series

Wanderers 3rd Day:

the 3rd day of the Wanderers test has seen lots of up and down and we are heading towards an exciting fourth day of the second test match between India and South Africa, where both the team can claim this test match to their name.

The start of the 3rd day was very good as both of their out-of-form batters Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane found some form and scored the fifties to their name.

Both of them ensured that India lose no wicket in the first hour of the day and this helped India to stretch their lead to 128 runs but as Rahane was looking solid to score in this innings he out to Kagiso Rabada he scored 58 runs.

Pujara followed soon after and he made 53 runs before getting out, now the Indian was a spot of bother as both set batter were back in the pavilion and the lead wasn’t that big, the problem of India soon increased when wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant tried to play a rash shot against Rabada and threw his wicket away.

the innings got little help from Hanuma Vihari who scored not out 40 runs and ensure that lead go past 200 runs mark,

In return, South Africa started positively and their Aiden Markram and Dean Elgar tested Indian fast bowlers, As Aiden took the role of the attacker as he scored 31 runs off 38 balls before getting out Shardul Thakur.

Then Dean Elgar got support from Keegan Petersen and both of them played their shots, especially Keegan, as both of them were looking to take the match away from India, Ravi Ashwin struck gold as he sent Petersen back to the pavilion.

Now all of the hopes of South Africa batting relies on their opener Dean Elgar and Temba Bavuma, Elgar has been steadies in his 46 run innings and has played 121 balls.

For India the things are simple to get wickets as soon as possible.
