WI vs Eng: Windies beats England by 9 Wickets

England’s batting collapse, the first T20i of five-match series between England and Windies started yesterday and the start of the tour isn’t very pleasing for the guests, they were bundled out for 103 runs.

the start for the English team wasn’t very good as they lost their first three wickets in the first two overs of the game, Jason Roy, Tom Banton and, Moeen Ali failed to perform and they were back in the pavilion in just 1.6 overs.

after this horrendous start, the English team wasn’t able to come back in the match, as the Windies kept on chipping the wickets of

English batters, James Vince, Eoin Morgan, Adil Rashid, and Chris Jordan were the only batter in the lineup who was able to put two-digit total to their names, but they were unable to turn their score into big innings.

at one point in time, England was struggling for 39 for 6 but soon they were 49 for 7 as their Morgan went back to pavilion and it was looking that Windies will wrap up the English batting in no time, but Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan added 36 runs for the eight-wicket and saved their team from the humiliation.

Easy Chase by Windies

For the Windies, the score wasn’t that big and their openers started cautiously without taking much of the risk, for the first wicket Brandon King and Shai Hope added 52 runs in 9.1 overs, but Shai Hope couldn’t able to continue his 25 runs innings and got stump out of Adil Rashid.

but his departure Nicholas Pooran and Brandon King made sure that England gets no further wicket and they ensured an easy win for their team, and in this process, Brandon King scored a half-century.
